This was a WP-funded programme of 17 schools visits, plus a visit day at Lancaster University, for young people from Polish Supplementary Schools in the north west of England. These schools operate at evenings and weekends and are coordinated by the Polish Education Society. Members of staff and student ambassadors from the Physics Department engaged with these schools over the course of the 22/23 academic year, delivering a programme of Physics workshops and a local Science Club to promote STEM skills and raise awareness of science at university. We also attended the 2023 Multicultural Cumbria fair at Carlisle College as part of this engagement programme.
