Kwok Tong Soo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics. He has a BSc in Economics from the University of London External Programme, and a MSc and PhD in Economics from the LSE.

Kwok Tong's research interests cover several related fields. The first is international trade and the location of economic activity. The second area is systems of cities and how cities grow and change over time. The third area is the estimation of cost and demand in industries.

Current teaching includes Econ101 Principles of Economics A, Econ333 International Trade, and ECON336 Current Issues in Economics. I am also the Part 1 Director of Studies in Economics. 

Kwok Tong is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, having completed the Certificate in Academic Practice (CAP) at Lancaster in 2007, and the Advancing Teaching: Lancaster Accreditation Scheme (ATLAS) at Lancaster in 2018.
