Interested in supervising students who wish to work on macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy and financial regulation in DSGE models. I am particularly interested in analyzing the interactions between the financial sector and the real economy, as well as the roles of macroprudential regulation and unconventional policies during periods of financial distress.
My research interests lie in macroeconomics, monetary policy, banking regulation and optimal stabilization policies over the business cycle. I am particularly interested in understanding the linkages between macroprudential (financial) interventions, the credit markets and the real economy. Recent work focuses on the positive and normative implications of unconventional financial and fiscal policies against the backdrop of liquidity traps and unemployment.
