My research focuses on macroeconomic theory, especially how financial frictions, banking, and housing markets interact with monetary and macroprudential policy. I’ve published in leading journals on these topics and explore how policy frameworks can support stability and growth. Alongside this, I research economics education with a focus on student engagement through social media. I co-lead the
@dailylifeEcon project, which uses platforms like Instagram to link economic theory to real-life experience. This work, presented at national conferences, supports inclusive,
research-led learning. Together, these strands reflect my commitment to policy-relevant research and innovative, student-focused teaching.
Interested in supervising students who wish to work on Macroeconomics, Monetary policies and Macroprudential policies in DSGE models. Specifically interested in modelling financial frictions, investigating their impact on the wider economy and their implications for policymakers.
