Interested in supervising students who wish to work on macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy and financial regulation in DSGE models. I am particularly interested in analyzing the interactions between the financial sector and the real economy, as well as the roles of macroprudential regulation and unconventional policies in a low interest rate environment.
My research interests lie in macroeconomics, monetary economics, fiscal policy, public economics, and optimal stabilization policies over the business cycle. Recent work focuses on the positive and normative implications of unconventional financial and fiscal policies against the backdrop of liquidity traps and unemployment.
Administration and Service: Academic advisor for all Undergraduate Economics students.
