Modularity of Processes and Processes of Modularity

Project: Other

Description

Modularity is typically treated as a state, and is typically applied to products. This group of activities is based on the 'modularity theory of the firm' of Carliss Baldwin and Richard N. Langlois, and explores ways to apply these ideas to service-based settings, and to be at least as concerned with the processes by which modularity is brought about as with the end result.
