At this event I presented a poster on the topic of : Single-walled carbon nanotubes are extremely sensitive electromechanical probes used extensively in quantum and low-temperature research. While the influence of monolayer helium on these devices has been investigated in, little is known about their behavior in bulk helium-4 or helium-3. This research sets out a theoretical method for controlling and measuring these mechanical oscillators in bulk helium-4, accompanied by predictions of their behavior.
