This technical paper is intended to support the paper ‘Is violent crime increasing or decreasing? A new methodology to measure repeat attacks making visible the significance of gender and domestic relations’, which has been submitted to the British Journal of Criminology. It details the meta-data and technical details such as samples sizes and number of Victim Forms in each sweep of the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW), and provides data tables of the estimates of violent crime which underpin the trend analysis presented in the BJC paper
