Ambra Mazzelli

Profile

Ambra Mazzelli is PhD student at Lancaster University Management School and member of the Knowledge Exchange and Research Group of the Wave 2 Growth Hubs (W2GH) Programme supported by the UK Government’s Regional Growth Fund (RGF). She received her Master’s degree in Management Engineering from University of Bergamo, Italy. Her research interests lie in organization and management theory. Particularly, Ambra’s research focuses on the causes, consequences and underlying dynamics of organizational change and innovation.

Ambra is member of Academy of Management and Global STEP Project for Family Enterprising. She has received various awards during her studies, among the most recent the Doctoral Studies Programme Award by RADMA Association.

Current Research

Many organizational scholars have turned to the notion of probemistic search as the activity that decision makers put in place when an organization fails to fulfill its goals. My research focuses on the underlying mechanisms of problemistic search and their impact on organizational outcomes.
