Research overview

My research focuses on third language acquisition in phonology. My PhD project aims to understand how the [l~n] merger in Chongqing dialect influences L1 Chongqing dialect speakers' phonological acquisition of their L2 Standard Mandarin (e.g. Putonghua) and L3 English.
