Research overview

I am a Doctoral Researcher in the Organisation, Work, and Technology (OWT) department at Lancaster University Management School (2022-2027). I hold an MA in Human Resources and Consulting (HRC) from Lancaster University, where I graduated with distinction in 2020. Additionally, I have an MSc in Polymer Engineering (2007) and have spent several years in managerial roles within the polymer industry.
Inspired by my industry experience and academic background in OWT, my research explores the exercise of power in accordance with market-driven principles. I am particularly interested in Foucault's concept of governmentality and how managers transform into entrepreneurs and enterprising individuals through a network of knowledge and expertise, including coaching and the ideology of excellence.
