I am an interdisciplinary researcher whose work draws from the fields of political ecology and human geography using feminist methodologies. My ongoing PhD examines the relationships farmers have with the land and the role of care within this.
I teach on the following undergraduate courses:
- British Politics since 1940: From Blitz to Brexit (University of Manchester)
- Politics of Policy Making (University of Manchester)
- Food and Agriculture in the 21st Century (Lancaster University)
I work part-time as a mental health practitioner with the Manchester charity 42nd Street, which supports young people with their mental health. I find this work plays an important, if subtle, role when it comes to my approach to academic research and teaching.
