Research overview

My primary research is in the area of functional data. Specifically, functional data with temporal dependence and nonstationary. These statistical methodologies are to model:

  • large-scale and complex time series data, and
  • spatio-temporal data.

I am highly motivated by real-world problems such as data from Environment, Energy, Health, and Engineering.

PhD supervision

I am interested in supervising the following topics: 1. Nonstationary functional time series methods 2. Methodologies for large spatio-temporal data 3. Factor models for complex spatio-temporal data 4. Methodologies for large environmental data 5. Methodologies for Point Processes
