Research Interests

Current research activities are in the area of well-being, leaveism and resilience within policing. Work in this area is developing to include aspects related to empathyamongst police officers. My other research interest is in the area of Marketing of Higher Education, with particular interest in student choice. I would be pleased to supervise students doing Doctoral research in this area.

While happy to supervise qualitative research, I am primarily a quantitative researcher. Multivariate analysis is another area of interest and use these techniques when ever given the opportunity.

Current Teaching

My teaching is dominated by post graduate modules. I teach Marketing Management and Research Methods on the EMBA (International). I also teach Market Research on the MSc (Advanced Marketing Management); International Marketing on the MSc (International Business) and Marketing Communications on the MSc (Management and Marketing). I also teach a quants course on the Full-time MBA and PhD programme. Undergraduate teaching includes Market Research, Advertising and Numeracy Skills (statitics).

Current Research

I am currently working on aspects related to well-being, resilience, leavism and empathy within UK policing.
