Ming is a PhD candidate in Medicine, studying health psychology. Her research is under the supervision of Dr Abby Morris, Dr Michelle Swainson. She previously worked as a research assistant in the Positive Psychology Research Centre at Tsinghua University after receiving a master’s degree in performance psychology from the University of Edinburgh in 2020.

Research overview

Ming is interested in sedentary behaviour, behaviour change, and mental health. She hopes to develop effective and appropriate interventions that reduce sedentary behaviour and improve mental health conditions in the workplace.
