Development and application of quantum Monte Carlo methods; first-principles studies of two-dimensional materials (graphene, silicene, boron nitride, transition metal dichalcogenides...).

Research Interests

My research interests lie in the development and application of quantum Monte Carlo methods for calculating material properties from first principles. I am interested in a range of applications of these methods, to two-dimensional materials, to materials at high pressure and to electron(-hole) gases.
