Profile

Mattias is a PhD student in psychology, supervised by Profs. Paul Taylor & Stacey Conchie, researching the drivers and predictors of cooperation and trust in police interrogations. His research utilises both experimental and survey methodologies and he is currently working on coding data from military interrogations. He is a member of the Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats (CREST) as well as the Social Processes Lab, both at Lancaster University. 


Mattias obtained four university degrees (the latest in statistics & data science), and studied abroad three times (Ireland, Canada, & South Africa), before embarking on his PhD.
