The ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union gave the Comics for Inclusive English Language Learning (CIELL) project a Good Practice Award for excellence highlighting it on the funder's website as a model project that can inspire others and guide future research. The external reviewers particularly commented on the high quality of the project outputs, the effective project management and the "considerable positive impact on the teachers and students".
