N2 - This note presents a first comparison of data and Monte-Carlo (MC) simulation at the MicroBooNE experiment, a surface-level liquid argon time projection chamber (LArTPC) located in the Booster Neutrino Beam (BNB) at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Before any analysis can be validated, it is important to ensure understanding of both the performance of the detector and the reconstruction algorithms. Comparing data with simulation can contribute to this effort.
