N2 - There has been much interest over the past few decades in sex offending, but remarkably little research in possible changes over time. There has, of course, been a recognition that, in most jurisdictions, consenting sexual relations between males is no longer a crime, while rape is a crime which is now taken much more seriously with an acknowledgment that both females and males can be raped. Beyond this, research into, changes over time have been strangely neglected.THis chapter disentangles the changes over time and determines whether they ar due to age changes, year by year changes or generational changes.
