According to a review in Viento Sur (no. 87, July 2006), it is 'an unforgettable and indispensable book ' full of stunning discoveries, in the vein of the masterpieces of social and cultural history.' According to Jordi Canyiss', writing in Canal Cultura, the book 'has invited me to see Barcelona through con otros ojos'.
