Abstract

Considers the impact of COVID-19 on business wealth creation, the significance of the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020, introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the concept of creative destruction, asking whether the pro-rescue policies implemented by the Act might lead to the artificial extension of the life span of some companies that would have otherwise failed.
