Until now, there have been few research works on Cambodian forests because of the long period of civil war, which restricted forest researchers and surveyors in the area. This book presents many new topics of research in forests such as those of Cambodia which were unavailable until now. One of the most attractive features of the volume is that it fills the gaps in data about the world’s forests. The book consists of three parts: forest hydrology, forest management, and forest ecology, designed to provide an understanding of continental river basins.
