N1 - Bertram was involved in the preparation of simulated signal samples and the muon trigger implementation. This is the most precise measurement of the Lambda_b^0 lifetime from a single experiment in the semileptonic mode and resolved a discrepancy between the measurement of the CDF collaboration and the World average value. N2 - We report a measurement of the lifetime using a sample corresponding to 1.3 fb-1 of data collected by the D0 experiment in 2002–2006 during run II of the Fermilab Tevatron collider. The baryon is reconstructed via the decay µX. Using 4437±329 signal candidates, we measure the lifetime to be ()=1.290(stat)(syst) ps, which is among the most precise measurements in semileptonic decays. This result is in good agreement with the world average value.
