By numerical integration of the equations of motion, we have calculated transverse and longitudinal NMR frequencies for He-3-A contained between parallel planes with a perpendicular dc magnetic field H. In the large H limit previously considered there is a, transverse mode and a longitudinal mode which, for large plane spacing D, are bound to the plane surfaces by the space-dependent texture there; our frequencies for these modes agree reasonably well with the variational estimates of Bruinsma and Maki but disagree with those of Fetter. In the limit of small H where I parallel to H parallel to d or small D and large H where 1 parallel to H perpendicular to d these bound states become the spatially uniform modes considered by Takagi. We identify a previously unexplained resonance in our transverse NMR experiments with the transverse bound state mode.
