With the publication in Physical Rcvicw Leiters (35, 615; 1975) of a comment by Webb, Sager, and Wheatley of the University of California at La Jolla, one of the principal impediments to the identification of superfluid 3He-B as the state originally proposed by Balian and Westhamer (Phys. Rev., 131, 1553; 1963) seems to have fallen away.
