Research overview

Clare is a Senior Research Associate working on the MOPS2 project (mops2.diffusepollution.info). After undertaking degrees at Durham University and University of Leeds, Clare gained a PhD from the University of Sheffield into hillslope phosphorus transfer in runoff. For the past 5 years, Clare has been working on applied research aiming to reduce diffuse pollution from agriculture, with particular focus on practical cost-effective mitigation approaches. Current areas of interest include diffuse pollution mitigation, catchment management, and sediment and nutrient dynamics.
