Research overview

Inés is a writer and artist with a PhD in Creative Writing by Lancaster University. Her interests are the novella as a form, multilingualism, unreliable narrators, magic realism, the gothic, speculative fiction, queer theory and graphic novels. She has published a collection of novels, 'Los Pentasónicos' (Edebé, 2008-2010) and two novellas 'Mactavish Manor' (Holland House, 2016) and 'Kabuki' (Dairea, 2017). Her short fiction has been published and won awards such as the Autonomous University of Madrid Short Story Prize. She also lectures part-time at the University of Central Lancashire. She co-founded and directs the artistic platform The Wandering Bard.
