My main ongoing research interest is in Sustainable Supply Chain Management including projects to address: sustainable packaging innovations to reduce plastic waste; sustainable sourcing involving emerging economies; sustainable global supplier development and supply chain responses to modern slavery legislation. She also has extensive expertise in manufacturing strategy, planning and control for product customisation contexts.
I am interested in supervising further Ph.D students in the Sustainable Supply Chain Management area. In particular, there are opportunities to investigate: the impact of Modern Slavery Legislation on social sustainability in the Supply Chain; and Buyer-Supplier contracting for Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
