I am interested in a wide range of issues concerning individuals with intellectual disabilities. I am particularly interested in understanding how socioeconomic status influences health and social inequalities encountered by people with intellectual disabilities.

I have worked in a variety of nursing and specialist nursing posts in Ireland and Jersey. General areas include; paediatric nephrology; children with life-limiting conditions; community intellectual disability nursing; psychiatry of intellectual disability and (practice) education.
