Vittoria is a PhD candidate in Management at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), supervised by Dr Josip Kotlar and Prof. Alfredo De Massis, and working within the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy & Innovation and the LUMS Centre for Family Business. Her work focuses on the phenomena of generational transions in family firms and the perceptions of time and change in relation to their evolution. In particular, she is looking at perspectives and theories from evolutionary psychology and cognitive sciences to explain organizational succession and change in family business contexts.
