N1 - This article, on an aspect of e-learning, was accepted in an internationally peer-reviewed journal targeted both at practitioners and researchers. The principal author, with support of an additional author, analysed through theoretical perspectives, ways in which teachers, advisers and researchers from across 8 countries in the EU, Hungary and the USA described and illustrated uses of on-line resources. The findings were gathered through an initiative concerned with how teachers and learners could use on-line environments to develop and share resources focusing on aspects of cultural learning.
