Dr Helen Barnett

Formerly at Lancaster University

I am currently a Senior Research Associate in the department of Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster University.

I graduated from Lancaster University in July 2013 with a BSc (Hons) Mathematics, and for each of my three years of study achieved the departmental prize for the highest score in my year group. I then joined the STOR-i doctoral training centre at Lancaster, completing my MRes and PhD finishing in 2017. My PhD was entitled 'Optimizing Pharmacokinetic Studies Using Microsampling' and was in collaboration with Janssen Pharmaceutica located in Beerse, Belgium.

My research has now extended to the areas of dose-finding studies and response-adaptive designs in clinical trials.
