I joined Lancaster Univeristy in December 2015. I am an Experimental Officer at the Quantum Technology Centre in the Physics Department and I also manage the Nanofabrication facility.
I graduated with an MPhys Physics from Leicester University in 2007, followed by a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from The University of Nottingham (2007 - 2011). More recently I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CNRS Institut Neel in Grenoble (2011 - 2013) and Royal Holloway University of London (2013 - 2015).
My research interests include nanofabrication of silicon based and III-V semiconductor devices, MEMS and NEMS, heat transport at the nanoscale and superconducting quantum circuits
